maison-claudemichez The Champagne Claude MICHEZ brand was born on 1973, thanks to Claude and Jacqueline.

Originally our ancestors raised the vine, to sell the entire harvest to the big Champagne Companies like Moet and Chandon, through the Cooperative.

It was strongly due to our grape-pickers encouragements that the first bottles were initially offered for sale. Little by little, the <<word of mouth>> approached and the sales didn’t stop growing.


To date, the totality of the harvested grapes is consecrated to the Champagnes Claude MICHEZ elaboration, destined only to private customers.
So, we greatly thank our very first grape-pickers, our original wine taster FIRST DAY’s clients.


Our Champagne's success, is a consistent quality, and pressing center of high-tech that represents our company, which has received every homologation criteria that assures we earn the seal of safety of a perfect hygiene.


maison-claudemichez1In 1998, after completing her education, (Responsible of Wine-production Management), Laurence became solely responsible as she rejoined the family management, and ultimately launched the development of Champagnes Claude MICHEZ’s commercialization.

In 2002, joined by her husband, Cyrille, half time, to contribute in the vineyards  after completion of a series of approved courses, at the Center of Professional Formation for Apprentices and Adults in Avize.




Presently, our vineyard rests the completion of more than 4 hectare large vine, mainly over the village of BOURSAULT, but also over the village of MARDEUIL (close to EPERNAY) and in CUIS first region class land.

We cultivate 3 of the finest grape varieties of the Champagne region: Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
All of our Champagnes are elaborated in the vineyard. After the vinification, the vintages mature in our cellars for a minimum of 3 years after the bottling.

Vinification, Blending, Edition, Decanting, Disgorgement, and the Covering are done by our very own treatments.
