HVE: is a method of working which has at its core the preservation of our terroir. As part of this undertaking we adopt sustainable practices in our vineyards using many of the same techniques used by organic producers. We work with the utmost care, paying attention to changes in the weather and to the individual character of each plot of vines.

Our estate has HVE certification.
A nationally recognised standard

Certification involves a commitment to excellence in several key areas:

• Preservation of biodiversity
• Reduction in the use of phytosanitary products in favour of biological methods via the implementation of environmentally-friendly practices, in particular as regards water management and the management of effluents from the vineyards and winery.

This is a purely voluntary and long term commitment. Whenever possible we prefer doing work by hand because this allows us to be more responsive to Nature and allows a more tailor-made approach.
